KATHERINE RYAN
Comedian, writer, presenter, and actor Katherine Ryan is dominating the television and live comedy scenes, both in the UK and abroad. She hosted her six-part global flagship series for Amazon Prime, Backstage with Katherine Ryan, and hosts the hit primetime jewellery-making competition series All That Glitters.
Katherine also played a lead role alongside Romesh Ranganathan in Sky Comedy’s hit scripted series, Romantic Getaway. She's also the newest judge on Canada's Got Talent. Katherine has sold-out venues across the UK, US, and Canada with her live shows. She took Glitter Room, to The Garrick Theatre in London’s West End for a four-week run after a sell-out nationwide tour.
Her show Missus, played at the London Palladium for multiple dates after a sell-out international tour. Her debut Netflix sitcom The Duchess leapt to the top of the UK Netflix chart, spending over a week in the number one spot. Katherine not only stars in the lead role, but also wrote and executive-produced the series.
Katherine has been a stalwart on all the UK’s major panel shows and has made countless appearances on UK television, from the smash hit series Who Do You Think You Are? To hosting Have I Got News for You. She has also co-hosted Your Face or Mine with Jimmy Carr.
She has been a judge on Roast Battle for Comedy Central and on Netflix’s first panel show The Fix, and appeared in an episode of the Louis Theroux Interviews. Other notable TV credits include Travel Man with Richard Ayoade, The Big Fat Quiz of The Year, The Big Narstie Show, A League of Their Own, and The Jonathan Ross Show. On top of all this, Katherine hosted C4’s factualentertainment series How’d You Get So Rich?, based on the original series hosted by Joan Rivers. She was also the host of The Stand-Up Show with Katherine Ryan, for The Comedy Network in Canada. Katherine’s debut book The Audacity: Why Being Too Much Is Exactly Enough went straight into the Sunday Times Bestseller list. Her podcast Telling Everybody Everything frequently tops the charts.
